Shoko was incredibly caring when my partner hurt her knee during our stay. She helped us get to the doctor's twice and translated for us. She never made it seem like we were taking up her time, she just wanted to help. The house itself was beautiful and cozy, with good facilities and amazing hosts. The one thing I'd change is the downstairs bathroom shower. It's poorly designed and left big puddles on the floor, though that wasn't a major problem. The house is close to Echoland bus stops, making it easy to get to the mountains, and there are good Japanese restaurants and bars nearby. We'd definitely stay here again.
