This is my favorite place I've stayed in the Hakuba base camp neighborhood. The room was better than I expected, with a tiny kitchen, and an oven and microwave just steps away. The dining was great and reasonably priced too. Best of all, there's a huge smoking room. If I visit Hakuba again, this would be my first choice.

In summer 2023, my wife, our four-year-old son, our dog, and I spent two nights at this guesthouse. It has a charming, homey feel and a lovely exterior. Since we were the only guests, we got a very spacious room. Dinner was a creative French course, with generous portions and delicious food. My wife especially loved it, and they even made omurice (omelet rice) especially for our child. Everyone was kind to our son and dog, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming, from the handmade patchwork in the dining room to the cute guest room decor. It was a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.
We came as two adults with our Bichon Frise and Pomeranian, and stayed without meals. The pension has a lovely exterior, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, so we could really relax. The bath was just the right temperature, and we ended up soaking for ages. The owner was kind and sweet with the cute mascot dog. What a wonderful family. The beautiful, large patchwork pieces in the dining room and on the stairs were apparently made by the owner's mother. The free breakfast was as delicious as a hotel breakfast! Next time we'd love to come back with dinner included. Thank you for letting us relax with our dogs during your busy Golden Week holidays.
