KAMON HOTEL Seto

There wasn't a kettle in the room, which was a shame. Still, it was good value, and my small room felt cozy. I also got lucky with a large window facing a quiet street. Some rooms probably look onto a wall.

The decor isn't fancy and the rooms are tiny, but the staff are incredibly nice. You're right by the Peace Park, and it's only a short walk to a connecting line for Hiroshima Station. There's also a pleasant little bar, with a digital ordering pad on every table.

You can walk to the main sights and transport from this spot, and there's a lovely little bakery just around the corner in a nice neighborhood. The staff really try to help. Rooms are small, but clean and practical, with a huge TV and Netflix, handy since the TV channels are all Japanese. There's also filtered hot and cold water, an ice machine, a rice cooker and a microwave. The restaurant and bar were there, though I didn't try them. Good value, and I'd stay again.

For me, the room was small but didn't feel cramped, and everything was clean, including the provided bathroom amenities. The staff were friendly and spoke English. It's near the peace memorial park and felt like very good value.
