Take and Kimmy were wonderful hosts, and we really appreciated their daily ride to the ski lift and pick-up afterward. The food is well worth recommending too. You can tell how much love has gone into this place. The rooms are beautifully appointed, warm, cosy and homely. We loved everything about our stay, and this will be our home on future trips to Japan. Thank you, Ben and Lisa.

The two-bedroom apartment had superb views, and the free drop-off at the ski lifts was great. Breakfasts were fantastic too. When a storm came through, Tacheshi even showed me how to fit snow chains. Tacheshi and Kimmie were the most thoughtful, helpful hosts you could hope for. We stayed at Fujio Pension in January this year. What more do you need? 10/10 🙂

Kimmie cooked a tasty, healthy breakfast and a gourmet dinner in the evening, if you wanted one. There’s also an onsen hot bath, laundry and a bar. For a ski holiday, Fujio Pension worked perfectly for our family. Taki dropped us right at the snow and arranged our lift tickets. We had an absolutely wonderful time with Taki and Kimmie and couldn’t recommend the place more.

We stayed four nights on a ski trip and had a brilliant time. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms. Taki was very accommodating, happy to offer ski advice or take us on the one-minute bus ride to the slopes. Breakfast and dinner are available, and both are delicious. We had perfect omelettes with fluffy white bread each morning, and the udon pod was fantastic for dinner. There’s also a Private Onsen to use after a hard day skiing.

The room was basic, with two beds and a small modular bathroom. Downstairs there’s a shared bath, and we could lock the door for privacy. Fujio pension is two minutes from the ski resort. Takeshi was a wonderful host and organized our ski transport, tickets and rental. Breakfast was superb, and book dinner too, the meals are as good as you’ll find anywhere. We’d stay again and highly recommend it.
