A cozy, nice place. If you're staying here, you should visit Meiji Village.

There was a strong smoke smell in the non-smoking room.

The food really stood out. Dinner was delicious, and everyone enjoyed it, from the children to my elderly grandmother. Portions were generous even for smaller appetites. We had told them ahead that one of our preschoolers wouldn't be having a meal, and they kindly brought rice in a child-sized bowl. Sharing some side dishes from the other child's meal was just the right amount. Our group was three adults and two preschoolers, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The room was simple but perfectly adequate, with nothing to complain about. If you come with young children, bring their clothes and things to keep them entertained. With adults only, there's nothing to worry about. It's a quiet, relaxing place where you can enjoy good food and unwind.

We were very pleased with the value for money and would stay again. My wife enjoyed the paintings in the hallway, and the glass-walled lobby seems like a nice place to have a drink after dinner. On a clear day, I imagine you can see Lake Iruka and the mountains from there. We came for Meiji Village and chose the Meiji Village Ticket Included Plan because reviews said the facilities were old but the food was good. The food was the biggest surprise: so many carefully prepared kaiseki dishes came out one after another, all delicious for the price. My wife couldn't finish everything. Next time we'd like to try the upgraded steak plan or special kaiseki course. The facilities are old but clean and well kept. Our Japanese-style room wasn't luxurious, but it was calm and relaxing, and the bath wasn't crowded, so we could soak at our own pace.

Our corner room was quiet and relaxing, and it was spacious and clean. The large public bath had a lovely lake view and even included a baby bath. Everyone was warm and kind, so it was a great trip. We were here for Inuyama Castle and Meiji Village, and this was my first stay. I'd definitely come back when I visit Inuyama.
