Nagasaki Chapel Coconuts Hotel & Resort

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and with the curtains drawn I slept like a baby. I'd read that it was a love hotel and expected some smoke smell, though it still left me a little uneasy. I wasn't there for that, but it's very well equipped for love stuff, lol.

My wife wanted a resort for her birthday, so we stayed here for a day, but it turned out to be a love hotel. At 19:10 I checked in. After talking it over with my wife, I contacted reception at 19:45 to ask whether we could move to a bigger room because it was her birthday. I was willing to pay the difference, but the receptionist refused without giving a reason. That made my wife cry.

The morning ocean view was breathtaking, and it alone made the stay worthwhile. I had to check out that morning for business in Nagasaki, though I would have liked more time to sit and enjoy it. At night the sea is pitch black, with only a few ship lights, so it's probably better to check in early and take in the evening view. I didn't realize at first that this impressive looking building was a love hotel. It seems like it may have been a resort hotel before being converted, and the renovation impressed me. You can tell the building is old, and cleanliness isn't perfect, but I can't complain about that ocean view for under 10,000 yen. The bathroom's glass sink was a nice touch, too. I ordered a meal, and both the amount and taste were great. I've stayed at love hotels around the country, and this was the best meal I've had at one. The curry was a little too spicy, though, haha. I traveled a long way to stay here, so I'm not sure I'll get another chance, but I highly recommend it. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

[To the person in charge] I'm Yamaguchi, staying in room 402 as of 8 PM on Tuesday, September 23rd. Although I locked every door and window, about six stink bugs got into my room through a gap in the door. I'm traveling, and I'm worried some of my belongings may have been affected too. It's made me very uncomfortable. I called the front desk, and a male staff member named Koga scoffed and said, "There's nothing we can do about what's already in the room." His manner was condescending, he shifted blame, and he didn't apologize at all. Please explain how you will address this staff member's inappropriate conduct toward a guest.
