I booked on 2022/12/16, and within two minutes of the reservation being accepted, I got a message asking if it was okay to raise the accommodation fee from the date of the reservation. They were very kind and clear when I asked about it, which surprised me. It sounds like the amount of the increase hadn't been decided, so I'll leave it as it is. Still feels like a scam place.

The only thing that bothered me was the dirty hairdryer. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It was quiet and I slept really well. I liked the place a lot: it felt like staying in an apartment on your own, and there was a convenience store right next door with a parking space assigned to each room. I chose the breakfast plan, and it was a really filling meal.

I was really happy with the stay. The room was clean, and both dinner and breakfast were tasty and filling, especially the cold, delicious salad. The seasoning was just right. Staff explained everything clearly and politely. There's a kettle in the room, and you can get free coffee and tea bags at the front desk as often as you like. Bath supplies and toiletries are all provided, so there's no need to pack them. I'd come back.

The management office staff, both men and women, were friendly and helpful, which left a good impression. We stayed here on October 11, 2025, before crossing to Tashirojima. The building exterior is prefabricated, and the rooms aren't especially fancy, but having it right next door is very convenient. The price was reasonable too, so it felt perfectly adequate.

The room and bed were roomy, and it didn't feel cramped. The bathroom and toilet are modular but clean, and the bathtub is a normal size, though there's no stretching out your legs. Shampoo and conditioner are supplied. The air conditioner gets super cold, which I liked, but the toilet has no washlet. The white fluorescent lighting felt unrelaxing, with the long tubes in plain sight, and some wiring was exposed, which was a bit depressing. Since this is temporary housing built after the earthquake, it's different from a normal hotel. The reception and dining room are in a separate building. If you need ice or plates, you have to go outside to get them. It's only a 30-second walk, but it feels far when you can't go through indoors. Noise is hard to avoid in temporary housing, though it was tolerable unless your neighbor is really loud. It's on the outskirts of Ishinomaki, under a 10-minute drive from the city center. Shopping in town is a little inconvenient, but there's a 7-Eleven next door. Staying here gave me a sense, both positive and negative, of what people in the disaster-hit areas went through. It was a learning experience.
