Seaside Inn Ebisu

The dinner was the big draw, and it really delivered: a boat-shaped platter with simmered fish, lots of little dishes, and lobster heads later turned into miso soup. Everything tasted great, and the amount and variety felt worth about 10,000 yen by themselves. I paid 11,000 yen per person for the Sunday plan with spiny lobster. The building is somewhat old, but very clean and cared for, and the room had a fantastic view. The bath is heated, though it is a hot spring. I was very satisfied and would like to return. Thanks for looking after me. I also left my shirt behind, and they contacted me and mailed it home. Sorry to have caused the extra trouble.

The staff were so kind, and I appreciated their thoughtful service, including offering refills. I liked the homely feel. I booked at short notice after leaving another inn. It’s an old-fashioned place, and I think the age adds to its charm. The food was luxurious. I walked from the station, then went out on foot to watch the sunrise, which was great. The private bath looked a bit old but was fine. There was only one shower, so we had to take turns. The large public bath was spacious, and when I went, I had it all to myself. Thank you.

Breakfast and dinner were better than I expected, both in taste and quantity, and I really enjoyed the hot springs. I was in Chiba for the first time in a while to visit my daughter's new home with my partner, and we stayed one night. The room was quiet, with the sea visible from the window. It seemed very clean at first, but the tiny toilet and dust on the wall behind the door were disappointing.

The hospitality was wonderful, and the food was delicious too. I’d like to stay here again.
