The staff were so warm and kind, and made us feel welcome and at home in this small, cozy hotel. Complimentary udon late at night was a highlight, and it was absolutely delicious. There were also plenty of free hot and cold drinks in the lobby. Our room had a very comfortable bed, free drinks in the fridge, and a deep bathtub. We loved getting to choose from a selection of bath salts too. This is our favorite hotel in Japan, a real gem in Kanazawa. I'd come back again and again and recommend it to anyone visiting.

We left housekeeping service off, but they still brought us fresh towels and drinks every day. At checkout, we also got a small personalized gift. The hotel is well equipped, with free ramen each night, dango on arrival, and drinks available. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and spacious. It's a short walk to the station and about 15 minutes to the central area with bars and restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kanazawa.

The hotel itself is great and has good amenities, but I wouldn't book the breakfast again. We had it included, and that was a mistake for me personally. I don't like Japanese breakfast, which is my own preference, and my husband was fine with it. Still, even if you do like it, the selection is extremely limited: a bowl of rice, soup, one tiny side dish, and a tiny dessert, with no other options. If you need breakfast to start your day, I'd book without it or stay somewhere else. If that meal is enough for you, it's a good hotel choice.

We spent two nights here and enjoyed the stay. The location was convenient, on a quieter side street and close to Omicho market for tasty bites. The room had useful amenities like slippers, a hairbrush, and a kimono/yukata. The hotel offered rice balls with bean sauce for dessert, a nice gesture, though I wasn't hungry enough to try the late udon. We took rice crackers as a checkout gift. The rooms are small for two, but would be great for one. Service was good, though a little less warm than what we'd experienced in Kyoto. Ours faced the back and looked onto other buildings, so it might be worth asking for one facing the front. It didn't matter much to us since we were mostly there to sleep after long days exploring. I'd certainly recommend the hotel.

The beds were the most comfortable of our trip, and the rooms were spacious. We had a roomy bathroom with a great shower and bath, plus two free bath salts to use. The drinks in the fridge were complimentary, with both alcoholic and soft drinks, and staff refilled them for us. Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi welcomed us with tea and delicious Kanazawa sweet (Dango), and check-in was easy. Tea, coffee, and juice were available in the lounge all day and night, and they served delicious free hot Udon from 8-9:30pm. We didn't try breakfast, though it looked and smelled fantastic. Staff helped forward our luggage and answered our questions. The price felt very reasonable for what we got, and I can't recommend this beautiful hotel enough.
