The free bike rental is a real bonus. The hostel is on the opposite side of the station from the main attractions, but they’re only a couple of minutes away by bike using dedicated lanes. It’s family friendly, with a kids’ playroom, and there were children around while I was there. The staff were nice, and the facilities include a lounge, kitchen, library, and shared bathrooms with great showers. You can have free drip coffee and toast for breakfast if you like. The double rooms are good and the beds are comfortable; the dorm bunks are standard but comfortable too.

The building is a little older, which gives it an authentic, cozy feel. I shared a private room with my sister, and our two beds were comfortable. The location was decent. They also have laundry, plus a complimentary breakfast of coffee or tea and two large slices of toast with different spreads to choose from. A wonderful hostel.

That candlelit get-together each evening is worth catching. I also appreciated the practical, cozy common room, with free toast, tea, and really good coffee for breakfast. You can rent a bicycle cheaply to get around town. The price and location are great, the place is very clean, and the amenities and little finishing touches are well done. Staff were friendly and helpful, and they made my stay wonderful.

The free bike rental made getting around Kanazawa so much easier, easily my favorite part. The staff were super helpful and the facilities felt modern. Breakfast is free, with two slices of bread and condiments, and tea and coffee are available at any time. Amazing hostel, I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s a cozy living room where you can buy cheap beer, cocktails, and sodas, and it was a great place to socialize. The staff were nice, and you can rent bikes. They also transport your luggage close to the station, where you return the rental bikes. Good deal overall, though there was a strong, odd smell in the room. I think it was matcha, Japanese tea.
