The food was one of the best parts of the stay, and the staff were super nice and professional. Our room was beautiful, with a wonderful view. The hotel is on a private island, with its own walking path and lots of onsen hot springs. Fabulous experience! 😋❤️

The outdoor hot bath was incredible, and this has been the highlight of my vacation so far. Such a unique hotel, like something Bond might have stayed in during a 1970s trip to Japan. It's at once very traditional, dated twentieth century, and luxuriously modern. There are massage chairs in the rooms, futons on tatami mats, and free sake in the evening.

We only got to stay one night, and I wish it had been longer. The views were stunning, the rooms wonderful, and the service lovely. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, though dinner felt a little rushed, maybe because we were the last people in the restaurant.

After five days walking the Kumano Kodo, my wife and I spent one night here and it felt like heaven. The service and attention to detail were first class. I can't believe this hotel only has a three-star rating. Absolutely fabulous, highly recommended.

The onsen was unforgettable, especially the gorgeous sea view from the outdoor bath. I also loved that they switch the men's and women's baths so everyone gets a chance to enjoy it. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, and every dinner dish was beautifully presented and delicious. I also enjoyed a complimentary ume drink from the bar. It felt like stepping into a secret world, and I'll never forget the stay. Thank you for such an amazing experience!
