I spent 21 nights here in summer and felt welcome whenever I came through the door. The staff were good, the hotel felt safe, and they let me leave my larger luggage in the room while I spent a couple of nights in Tokyo. There’s also a laundry room, which came in handy for a longer stay. It’s only a few hundred meters from Kanayama station, with plenty of good restaurants nearby and lots of transport options. The nightly rate was cheap. My room felt a bit old-fashioned, and I could only change the AC fan speed, not the temperature. Breakfast was included and fine, though nothing special. I’d recommend it as a place to sleep if you want convenient connections.

A clean, compact Japanese business hotel with what you need for a night or two. It’s by a small shopping mall and close to the station, with subway, Meitetsu, and airport line access.

Breakfast was excellent. The room and bed were very small, and the window looked onto the next building just two meters away. That did mean it was quiet, with no street noise. The bathroom was attached.

The rooms were cozy, the Wi-Fi was decent, and breakfast was good. I was very happy with the place, especially its location near kanayama train station.
