APA Hotel Miyazaki Nobeoka Ekimae

The staff were friendly and helpful, and having both slippers and pajamas provided was a nice touch. My room was comfortable, if a little small, with a spotless, well-organized bathroom and useful toiletries, including a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, comb, and shaving kit. Breakfast tasted good, though it was Japanese-style. I stayed for two days and found it good value for the price, 4/5 stars.

The bed was soft and really nice, though the pillows were so flat they practically weren't there. There was a decent amount of room and plenty of furniture, and the amenities were good, but the shower had some dirt-like staining despite very strong water pressure. The heater worked, just more slowly than in other hotels, and the tiny window made the room feel boxed in. It's dated but adequate, and the lobby looks fancy. For a cheap hotel right by the station, it was an easy walk with luggage and good for the price.

The room was clean enough, and I liked the entertainment setup. Staff were friendly, and the location was very convenient. I'd stay here again.

For a stopover on a visit to Takachiho, it was fine. The location was great, with a 7 eleven and Nao Chan (OG Chicken Nanban) nearby. Our room in the main building was okay despite the building being old. The table area was a bit dusty, though the room was still clean, and the bed was comfortable. At this price, I don't think there's much to complain about.
