THEY HAVE CATS. I stayed for two nights, and the location was great for visiting Osaka landmarks nearby. The room was very clean and pretty large for what I paid. One thing to know: the hotel is next to the train, so light sleepers may hear it. I sleep pretty soundly myself.

There's a 2 km shopping street nearby, with all sorts of shops and restaurants, along with several convenience stores, including 7-Eleven. The hotel is handy for Temma, one of the Loop line and JR stations, but trains run until 10 pm and bring some noise. Our room was European style, with a Japanese style bathroom and toilet. Everything was clean and good for the nightly price, and breakfast was European style too. We were happy to choose this place for our first night in Osaka.

The woman at the front desk was young and spoke English well. The hotel sits beside the JR tracks near Temma station, and it was noisy. Even though I had a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarette smoke, and the hallway did too. I cancelled my second night and booked somewhere better.

It's a ryokan style place with free breakfast and internet. There are stairs to reach the rooms, so it isn't accessible for people with mobility needs. The toilet area is oddly cramped, too. I'm tall, and my knee touched the door, so I left it open whenever I used it. The lobby has emergency period pads in the washroom, free snacks, some toys and books for kids, and smoke extractors for smokers. They also have a guardian cat.

In the middle of Osaka, this is a Japanese style hotel at a very low price. Breakfast is served as a set for just 500 yen. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the city while saving some money.
