There aren't many western-style breakfast choices, so you need to be okay with the Japanese option, which can feel more like lunch or dinner to some of us. Western tourists should also know the rooms are very small, especially the bathrooms.

Getting around was easy: the metro is only about 30 seconds away, and 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson are a minute or two on foot. Cleanliness seems to be their top priority, with fresh-smelling sheets. The buffet breakfast was satisfying every morning we were there. Highly recommended.

The lobby has a welcome perk each evening from 6-8, a free drink from the keg or a selection of sake, wine, bourbon, gin, vodka, and other spirits. We were glad to find that surprise. The breakfast buffet is awesome, and the staff are helpful. The rooms are clean, a decent size, and have the expected facilities, including Japanese TV for some downtime. The price is great too. After a few trips to Japan and stays in several places, this is our favorite hotel so far.

The kitchen staff ladies were especially sweet, and service overall was very good, with polite staff and a pretty decent breakfast buffet. Our room, though, was tiny, barely giving us space to open our luggage. The bed was hard and uncomfortable too. I'd only suggest it for a short stay.

The hosts were lovely, and the stay was comfortable. The room was clean, with fresh linen and toiletries. Breakfast was a great spread, mixing Japanese and western food.
