SUPER HOTEL Osaka Natural Hot Spring

The breakfast was the biggest letdown. The little dining room was packed, and although I understand the hotel was full, they should have planned for the crowd. The buffet ran out of bread and several other things. We waited half an hour and still didn't get croissants. I usually like the Super Hotel chain, and the bed and choice of pillows were good. The onsen had plenty of space, but my slippers were stolen, and people slept there, so the time limit clearly wasn't enforced. The hotel seems to have more rooms than its shared spaces can comfortably handle. Signup times for breakfast and the onsen might help. I also prefer a key card to entering a code.

The welcome drink was such a nice surprise when we arrived, and being able to store our luggage was really handy. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. Osaka city's only natural hot springs were a highlight for us. We had a great stay, highly recommend it! ❤️🤩

We signed up as members and had also stayed at the same SuperHotel chain in Tokyo. The onsens and all the extras here were a real highlight, including the complimentary happy hour drinks and even an oxygen chamber in Osaka. Service was very good too. Special thanks to Tom! He was always helpful, professional, and resourceful. We'd certainly come back. Highly recommend!

The breakfast service was late and unpleasant. Staff directed people to seats by the entrance and passageway even though plenty of quieter tables were free. The onsen was crowded, with no showers available, and didn't feel special. Check-in took over 20 minutes at 11:30 PM, and the staff weren't welcoming or efficient. The room is a poor choice if you're claustrophobic or want an outside view. At ¥27,000 for one night, this was scandalously bad value. It shouldn't cost more than ¥15,000, and it felt like they were taking advantage of high demand, likely from the Expo. A very unsatisfactory stay for that price.
