The food made this hotel stand out more than anything else. Breakfast and dinner were authentic Rishiri-style Kaiseki, with sashimi, rich uni, and buttery cod milt. Don’t expect Belgian waffles and bacon. I didn’t find food this good at any of the other hotels I stayed in. The large public bath was lovely, and we barely used the shower in our room. The ferry terminal is easy to reach, and Cape Peshi is a short walk away. This was our first stop in Japan, and I didn’t realize how lucky we were to stay here until we travelled elsewhere. I was extremely happy with the stay and hope to return.

The harbor and Rishirifuji views are wonderful, and there are good hikes and walks close by. The island’s best Izakaya is nearby too. Our room was large and a really pleasant place to spend time, and breakfast was excellent. The onsen is small but good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a shuttle to pick you up at the airport or harbor, which is only a couple hundred meters away. Great place to stay!

I visited in March a few years ago and had a really good time. The food and service were good, and the tips were helpful. It’s close to the ferry too. I’d definitely recommend it!

The rooms are roomy, and there’s good access to hiking. Dinner and breakfast were both nice.
