Black mold on the bathroom ceiling and bathtub made the shower unusable. In the morning, a cleaning staff member was in the hallway when I left my room, but she didn't greet me or say anything. I stayed Sunday to Monday with an 11:00 AM checkout. Just after 9:00 AM, loud construction on the exterior wall woke me, and I hurried to get ready and leave the room. The noise was so loud I couldn't hear over it even with the TV volume at 50. They could at least have waited until after checkout, or warned me when I booked. If I’d known, I definitely would have canceled.

The room was cleaned well, though you can’t deny the building is old. I stayed on a Saturday at the end of the year because the price was quite low. I wish the woman at the front desk had explained the payment process a little more clearly.

I was here for a week on a business trip. It’s unusual these days to find a guest room with a smoking room, and that was helpful to me. The cigarette smell was strong as soon as I walked in.

The room felt a little dated, but there was a great breakfast spread with lots of choices! (^^)! (^^)!

The hotel is showing its age, and the bathroom unit’s finish is peeling quite noticeably. I appreciated the free coffee and bottle of mineral water, though. I hope they keep offering those.
