Super Hotel Sendai Hirose Dori

The room’s AV projection setup was a fun feature, and breakfast was great and included. There’s also a hot spring bath on site. For a one-star place, the service and facilities are excellent. Check-in and checkout were easy, and English-speaking staff were available. The bathroom could feel cramped, and voices in the corridor carry very clearly, though guests were usually considerate and quiet. I’d highly recommend staying here in Sendai.

You pay when you check in, then there’s no checkout process. The staff were helpful and nice. I spoke Japanese with them, so I can’t say how well they speak English. There’s a small public bath if you enjoy an onsen. Drinks are available, and there’s a buffet breakfast for an extra charge. The room was clean, though the lighting was a little dim, which was fine.

The staff were warm and helpful, and everything was well equipped and looked after. The public bath is a bit small, as is the bathroom in the room. Be careful moving around in the shower, it’s easy to bump yourself. Breakfast buffet choices were limited, and the coffee from the vending machines was awful.

The bed was a great size and really comfortable, though there was no view. Breakfast was decent, mostly Japanese food, which was expected. The women’s onsen was hot, but my husband couldn’t get into the men’s side during the posted open hours, which was irritating. There’s no hotel parking. A pop-up lot nearby charges 800¥ overnight from 2100 to 0800, then ¥100 every 20 minutes after 0800. :/
