Hotel Front Inn Fukuoka airport

The onsen was spacious, clean, and at a good temperature. It’s open in the morning until 9, then again from 4 pm to 1 am. The room itself was quiet enough for a great night’s sleep, with a comfortable bed, a good quiet heater, and a large Smart TV right in front of it. The room wasn’t big, but the location worked: there’s a bus stop a minute away for Hakata station, and the airport is over a 10-minute walk. McDonald’s is right outside and the Trial grocery store is a five-minute walk away. The main hassle was making that airport walk with luggage.

The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast was good. I especially liked the delicious curry and rice. The bed was comfortable and the onsen bath was nice too. The domestic terminal is an easy, flat 10-minute walk away. In the evening I took the Subway to Hakata station, which took five minutes and cost ¥260.

For the price, the triple room was still larger than many other choices around Fukuoka airport, and breakfast was good value despite the limited selection. The layout could be improved, though. In our room, the bathroom felt almost bigger than the sleeping area.

The reception staff were always smiling and helpful. Special thanks to Matsuo and Nakada for their advice on getting to the airport and about the area. My wife and I stayed here for our last day in Japan because it’s so close to the airport. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and we loved breakfast too. 🙏
