There are lots of izakaya nearby, and Daiwa is close by, with Takaoka station just a few minutes away. The amenities were excellent: good Pola shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, plus bath salts and facial care items. The yukatta was cute, and I liked where our room was. I hope to come back and try the lunch buffet.

I don't really have anything to say. It's a shame that the whole town seems to have been left to decay, but I'm sure this historic place will be revitalized someday. Here's hoping for a better future.

It's clean and comfortable, and I stay here almost every time I come to Takaoka. There's a nightlife area behind the hotel with plenty of good restaurants. From a room facing the main road in front, you can see Takaoka Daibutsu.

A very posh hotel, definitely a step up for us. It has all the modern conveniences and then some. We loved staying here.

A decent place, though the carpets smelled a little and could use renovation. Breakfast had a good variety. My room came with a massage chair, and I made good use of it.
