We booked this place through Airbnb and had a great stay. It’s well located for exploring Takayama, and having a parking spot right beside the house was handy. The place was clean and comfortable, with a stocked kitchen and AC if needed. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Takayama. It was my favorite stop on our Japan trip!

It’s easy to get around from here, just a minute on foot from the Jinya, and I could enjoy the morning market without any trouble. I felt secure, and the clean room had curtains between it and the hallway, so I slept well. I’d stay here again on a trip to Takayama!

The Airbnb parking worked out really well for us. We got back very late every day, so I couldn’t tell what amenities were nearby 😅 The place itself was cozy and lovely, and we had two happy nights there. On our last night, at the end of February, it even snowed, a nice surprise! ❄️
