The room was big, with a view across the bay, and the onsen made for a perfect relaxing day before we headed to Tokyo for the last part of our holiday. The amenities were very nice, and we had a good time. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay.

I only came for the onsen, not an overnight stay. It cost about 1500 yen, which is above average, but there was nobody else there, so we had it all to ourselves. It’s small but pleasant, and the flowers around the outdoor bath were a nice touch.

I visited for the onsen rather than staying overnight, and found it a really relaxing place. You can have a room to yourself for privacy while you unwind in the spring. The staff were very well mannered. Getting here could be a little tricky, and you’ll need a car.

We spent three days and two nights at Hanashibuki over Christmas. The service was top notch, and both the food and room were great. I loved the place and can’t recommend it enough.

There are two pleasant private-use baths, each suited to two or three people, so they work well for a small family. You can soak outdoors in the hot spring and enjoy a great view.
