Hotel Balian Resort Higashi Shinjuku (Adult Only)

A spacious, clean room and friendly staff made for a good stay. The facilities are great for the price, and I'd most likely book this place again on my next trip.

Clean, attractive, and packed with amenities. This is easily the best hotel I've stayed in. Stay here, you won't regret it.

We booked this for one night by chance, and wished we'd picked it for longer from the start. The area is lively, with some street noise at times, though that didn't feel like a major drawback given everything else. Staff were attentive, the service was great, and the location was excellent. The lobby had free snacks, fruit, ice cream, drinks and soup, plus toiletries, hair and bath products, herbal teas, and a huge selection of cosmetics, all available throughout the stay. Rooms were a little larger than at the four other hotels we stayed in around Japan. By Turkish standards, though, they aren't large: hotel rooms in Turkey are generally around 25-40 m2, while standard Tokyo rooms are mostly about 13-20 m2. If a small room won't suit you and you have the budget, you can book a larger one at a higher price. I'll definitely choose this hotel again.
