Once we saw the rooms and the other overnight guests, we felt much better about staying. The hotel was clean and respectful, and plenty of tourists were there for regular stays. The rooms are charmingly decorated to fit the theme, with a big selection of lobby toiletries and eight kinds of soap and wash products in the rooms. There are snacks and small bites in the lobby all day. The hallway noise can carry, though, and some couples can be loud. I was there with my partner and his parents. I knew it was adults-only when I booked, but hadn’t understood that it was also rented by the hour. My parents are conservative, and we arrived before check-in, which isn’t until 8 p.m., with our rooms not ready. While we waited in the lobby, we saw couples coming and going for short stays and realized what kind of place it was. That felt awkward at first, but we couldn’t have been happier with the stay once we settled in. If we hadn’t spent those hours waiting in the lobby, we might not have noticed, apart from the occasional love noise in the hallway, which can happen at any hotel.

I’d seen some bad reviews and worried I might regret booking, but the place surprised me. The lobby was charming, the staff were smiling and professional, and the room was roomy and comfortable. Everyone was friendly, and the hotel was clean. Thanks, I’d come back.
In a great spot in Shinjuku, this sweet hotel has smoking rooms and an outdoor smoking area. There are loads of amenities at reception, plus free sodas, wine, and hot drinks. Nuts, crackers, and two soups are available through the day. Breakfast is a very reasonable ¥580 per person, with scrambled eggs, bread, coffee, salad, and fruit.
If you’re hoping for a quiet night and a good rest, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The walls are very thin, and noise carries. Cleaning and room turnover seemed to go on all night, with doors opening and carts moving at 1, 2, and 3 a.m. It made the stay uncomfortable if all you wanted was sleep. This is clearly a love hotel aimed at short visits and adult purposes, and may suit people there for that intended use. Be careful with the pricing, too. The entrance rates aren’t the final cost for a 24-hour stay. For example, a “15,800 yen standard room” came to almost 30,000 yen after check-in, so the 24-hour option is basically double. This doesn’t seem like a place for families or tourists looking to relax.
There’s an enormous range of free things: soups, drinks, red and white wine, beer, pop, little cakes, desserts, pumpkin chocolate fondue, nuts, and snacks. Please just take what you need during your stay and enjoy it. The TV has adult videos in different categories, sex-oriented variety shows, and regular movies too, including fairly new ones. I’d stay again, though I’d also like to try other BaliAn franchises. This is a Bali-themed love hotel, but it’s less discreet than a traditional one, with human staff for check-in and checkout and no separate screens or doors for private service. We also saw older Japanese men visiting with much younger, attractive Japanese women, so it is still a love hotel. If you’re comfortable with that, it’s a decent place. There are tons of shampoos, conditioners, body and bubble baths, bath additives, face moisturizers, bath salts, and mouth rinses, plus lots of food you can order from the TV or by phone. It could suit couples looking to recharge after sex, or friends having a spa night with body and face treatments, a hot tub, and laughs.
