Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived early, but the staff warmly offered to store our luggage, then brought the cases to our rooms with us. Check-in was quick and easy. I asked for decaf and got it, too. The room was spotless and had all the essentials. We made good use of the kettle, mugs, coffee machine, laundry, irons, and microwave. A couple of things would help: cutlery and chopsticks in the room for eating, and teaspoons for drinks. We reported that the basin plug didn’t work, but it still hadn’t been fixed after two days, so we couldn’t fill the sink with water.

The room was small but clean, and reception and housekeeping were great. Check-in was quick, and the extra items I asked for were brought up promptly. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Iidabashi Station, with several metro lines there. Great value, and I’ll definitely book here again when I’m back in Tokyo.

The breakfast buffet was really good, and my wife was delighted by the heated toilet seats. Our room was quite tight, but manageable since we didn’t spend much time in it, and it was very clean. Service was excellent: the front desk found a way to help with anything we asked for. They lend umbrellas for free on rainy days and can ship your luggage to your next hotel or the airport, which saves you from hauling it onto trains. I highly recommend the place and plan to return, hoping for a good room price and availability.

We were there for five nights. The room was cozy, reasonably clean, and the facilities were adequate. Breakfast had a decent range, though the coffee station line was long every day. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the train station. Check-in, on the other hand, was stressful. We had booked for two adults and one child with breakfast included, but staff said breakfast was free only for adults and that we’d need to pay separately for the child. They stuck to that even after we showed the booking details and told us to take it up with the booking platform. The discussion dragged on in the lobby, and the manager didn’t step in to clarify or help. The front-line staff stayed polite, but the lack of managerial support was disappointing. The room and service were decent overall, yet that booking issue left a negative impression.

We found the room spotless, spacious, and really comfortable, so the hotel surpassed what we expected. There’s a convenience store, bakery, and a few restaurants right on the premises. I’m a big coffee drinker, and it was nice to have a Starbucks nearby along with plenty of other places to eat. A great pick in Tokyo if you don’t want to spend a fortune.
