The location worked well, and getting in with codes was convenient since there was no key to carry. The washing machine came in handy, and there was plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels and a toothbrush were provided, and the razor was a nice extra. The host was patient and helpful when I checked in, arriving very late because our flights were delayed. The room itself was clean and tidy, though I'd recommend it for two people at most, perhaps with a small child as a third. The subway, convenience stores, and supermarket were close enough. There were quite a few cleaning issues. Dust had built up, the cooker controls were greasy and dirty though we didn't use the cooker, and the bathroom needed a proper clean, including mold removal and a clean sponge. The balcony also needed attention. The pillows felt like bean bag filling and weren't comfortable. The washer's dryer function was temperamental: after we cleaned the fluff trap and restarted it, the same error came up again. Fortunately, it was warm enough to dry clothes on the balcony the next day. Hand soap would have been useful. The road outside was noisy even at night, with lots of ambulances passing and waking all of us. On arrival, the sink wasn't draining. There was drain cleaner in the room, so we used it and the drain cleared for a few days, but it was slow again by checkout. The bathroom tap was hard to turn off and leaked each day. A sign in the ground-floor lift said these apartments shouldn't be used for holiday lets, which made us a bit uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay here again. The smaller apartments in the same building seem to get better reviews on booking.com, so maybe we were just unlucky, but this place wasn't for us.
