Regno Confort Asakusa Ⅳ

Four of us stayed for four days, and we were satisfied.

The place was a little small, but it was fairly close to everything and had a nice view, at least in my opinion. Prices were good too, and I really had nothing else to complain about. Of the places I stayed during my travels in Japan, this was definitely one of the better ones. I’d recommend it.

Room 801 was very nice, but the staff made me leave on February 21st, 2026, even though my scheduled departure was February 22nd, 2026 at 11am. I didn’t get the last night’s accommodation fee back, and it was taken from me. My travel agent had to urgently find me another hotel. This was shameful and unprofessional, and I’m so disappointed with the hotel. I’d never recommend it. Be careful, you might get scammed like I did.

I stayed in room 401 in the building furthest to the side. The place was utterly disappointing, and I hope people avoid it. The pillows and blankets smelled sweaty and sour, and the urine stench from the air conditioning was unbearable. The most basic cleanliness could have been improved, but those issues were ignored. I haven’t seen negative reviews, probably because the owner deleted them one by one. A few days later I came back and saw they’d even asked someone to use another person’s account to boost their five-star rating. I was dumbfounded and speechless.
