We really enjoyed our nine-night stay. The apartment was clean and tidy, much more spacious than a typical hotel room in central Tokyo, and the price was unbeatable. It's in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood with lots of good local restaurants and close to the station, though getting to central Tokyo takes 30-40 minutes. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and detailed, and there was a room manual explaining the facilities, including the washing machine, shower, and air conditioning. The host was friendly, responsive, and proactive.

As owners of several rental properties in Hawaii and the Mainland, including an Airbnb, my husband and I found Vacation Inn Heiwajima a fantastic place for the last couple of days of our Tokyo trip. It felt comfortably like home. We could cook in the kitchen and relax in the air conditioning during hot, humid afternoons, around 90-92 degrees. Heiwajima Station is a quick five-minute walk away. Keikyu Grocery Store is just across the station exit on the Keikyu Main Line, and had the best selection of meat, fresh fish, and bento. Cresent & Molly bakery, closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and a 7-11 convenience store are both a quick two-minute walk. Don Quijote is a 15-minute walk through Peace Field. Haneda Airport is an easy, convenient 15-minute train or monorail ride, depending on the terminal. One thing to know if you booked through Priceline: this is a self-check-in and check-out property. My reservation was moved to Booking.com without my knowing, so Vacation Inn sent all messages through Booking.com, not Priceline or my email. I didn't get the room number and entrance codes at noon the day before check-in. I called Priceline, and they transferred me to their sister company, Booking.com, which added my reservation and email to its system. After that, I received three emails from the property with check-in directions, what to do after entering the room, and how to confirm check-out. That mix-up wasn't the property's fault. It was a great stay, and I'd definitely come back!
The nearby restaurants and grocery stores made it easy to find what we needed, and the subway station was very close. Our room was clean and properly equipped, and we had a great five-night stay. If you need to do laundry, I'd choose a room with a balcony so you can hang things up. This would still be my first choice on another trip to Tokyo.
The Godzilla head is close enough to walk to, and the train station and grocery store are nearby too. I'd stay here again.
The host was quick to respond on AirBnb, and the place itself was clean, quiet, and nicely spacious compared with other hotels in this price range. I booked the apartment through AirBnb for a two-day stay near Haneda: one subway ride gets you to Terminal 3 in about 20 minutes. Getting to Ginza takes roughly 30 minutes, while Shibuya is around 35-40, so the location will suit some plans better than others. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops close by, a drink vending machine just outside along the street, and a 7-11 about a three-minute walk away. Just keep in mind it's not a hotel, so there won't be anyone coming in to clean or replace towels.
