Vera Heights Dogenzaka

The high ceilings made the room feel relaxing, and the design was so stylish that it looked good in every photo. We were comfortable getting ready together, thanks to the two sinks. Getting there from Shibuya Station was easy. I was a little nervous about self check-in, but after the elevator brought us to the 7th floor, the panel was right there, and following its directions was straightforward. I'd pick this place again next time I need a hotel in Shibuya!

The interior felt calm and the facilities were new, making the room very comfortable. It was also easy to reach from Shibuya Station, with shopping and restaurants close by. Three of us stayed there, and the spacious, clean room had a very comfortable bed. The kitchen had an induction cooktop and microwave, which came in handy for simple cooking and reheating, so I think it would work for longer stays too. Having two sinks was especially helpful in the morning, since all three of us could get ready without crowding each other. We'd definitely like to stay again.

With the high ceiling, open feel, stylish decor, spacious layout, and good equipment, it worked well for families and groups. It's in central Shibuya close to the station, though getting up Dogenzaka with large bags could be a bit tough. The area itself was quiet and relaxing. The hotel has no staff on site, but they sent detailed instructions ahead of time, and check-in went smoothly once we'd read them and prepared. I'd stayed at another hotel in the same chain before and got a coupon for another stay. I chose this one again because the facilities had been easy to use and comfortable.

The room is spacious and comfortable, but not being able to control the lights separately is a bit of a hassle. The comforters are so thick that even with the air conditioning at its coldest, it still gets too hot. Thinner ones as an alternative would be helpful.
