Takeya Hotel

I was completely taken with the hot spring, the food, the scenery, and the atmosphere on my first visit. I'd love to come back! Thank you very much 🙏🏻

We chose this place for a seaside vacation with my husband, and the ocean was right in front of us, just a short walk away. The sunset and morning walks were lovely. The bath wasn't too hot, so I could relax, and I really enjoyed the open-air bath too. The food was the highlight. The meal was generous, with grilled salted sea bream, fried fish heads, and rice made with Tsuyahime. I'd never tried that rice before, but it was so good I bought some afterward, lol. Dinner was delicious and very filling. The staff were so kind, and thank you for the souvenirs. This is a place I'd like to visit again.

When I stayed here about two years ago, the building was a little old but clearly well maintained, and I was comfortable. The room had a beautiful view. Its window wasn't quite centered toward the sunset, but on a clear day you could still see it beautifully.

I was impressed by the vanity mirror in the room. I could put on makeup easily even without my glasses, which was a big help. The room itself was lovely too: I stayed in a newly renovated special room, with what seemed like high-quality furnishings. The huge sofa was especially comfortable, and it's the sort of inn where I'd want to stay several nights. Dinner was a luxurious sea bream feast, though I got too full to try the sea bream rice. Eating in the banquet hall had a nostalgic feel that I liked. The bath felt a little plain, but in the open-air bath, I enjoyed the smell of sand carried on the breeze from the Sea of Japan.
