The onsen was excellent, clean, and well cared for. The men’s and women’s areas mirror each other, and both have open-air baths. One thing to be aware of: the wooden dividers between the outdoor baths have gaps from wear, and someone could potentially see through if they deliberately tried. In the room, the air conditioning worked well and the shower had plenty of hot water. The window softened the sunlight in a lovely way, with curtains available if you want it darker. Soundproofing is poor. I’d rank this among the better resorts in Japan.

It was clean, and the staff member who spoke fluent Korean was helpful. Still, I think I overpaid, and the service was poor. There was no towel or other amenities at the spa, no water in the room, and the bathroom was very cold.
