Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel

The spacious room had good amenities, and the staff were prompt and attentive. The hotel’s glass elevator gives a lovely view over the bay and park. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Monorail, and the big lobby had cute holiday decorations. The buffet breakfast looked appealing, but we didn’t try it.

Getting around to Disney was easy, with the train station about a three-minute walk away. It serves Disneyland, DisneySea and another hotel area. Check-in and checkout were both simple using the Marriott Bonvoy app. There are also small shops in the hotel for souvenirs and basic groceries, plus a separate area for Bonvoy Titanium and Platinum members. We stayed one night in December 2025 to visit Disney Sea. I was glad to find a room that could fit four or even six people, since our group of four usually needs two rooms elsewhere. Later we realized it was a standard-sized room with extra beds squeezed in. That seems good for families with young children, but less ideal for us with adult kids, though still acceptable. Our room faced the sea and Haneda airport. The hotel is huge and gets busy. Breakfast at peak times was very crowded, so we used the lobby breakfast area instead, where the selection was basic. It seems better suited to families with younger kids, and is a good option for visiting the Disney parks.

There’s plenty to do on site, including a flight simulator and Japanese bath house, and the club lounge is spacious. Breakfast there was great. It’s a terrific resort for families visiting Tokyo Disney, though as a five-star hotel it feels pretty average. The rooms are spacious with standard amenities, but the carpet needs replacing and the furnishings don’t feel very luxurious. A free shuttle goes to Maihama Station, the main subway stop for the Disney resort, and Bayside Station on the circular Disney Resort Line is right across the street. The location works well if you’re spending your time around Disney. Getting into Tokyo takes about 30-50 minutes on the subway. The Friendly Limousine Bus is the easiest airport option, but the trip takes about an hour even though the airports aren’t far away.
