Kanku Kokusai Hotel

The room was spotless, and the staff were kind and attentive. I was very happy with the stay, especially for the price. It would be helpful to have a breakfast area, even if guests bring their own food, or to offer complimentary drinks for a fee. Longer breakfast hours would be nice too. I'd gladly stay again. The staff were friendly, and it seems barbecues may be possible here. Iso-no-ura beach is within walking distance, with a nearly straight route if you take the mountain path. I don't know whether the place used to be a love hotel, but the location is good. The WiFi had some issues, and I hope it improves. Maybe they could bring in the satellite WiFi that's been getting attention lately.

I was in town for work and was surprised by how large the room was. The living area and bathroom were both spacious and very clean. There was also a large public bath, though you had to leave the building to reach it, and I had a really comfortable stay. The receptionist said drinks at the breakfast buffet restaurant were free until 9 pm, so I got to try several coffees. I was also told the employee washing machine was free to use, and I could do laundry as long as I had detergent. I hadn't brought many spare clothes, so that helped a lot. Wakayama is only three hours away. I'd like to stay here on a solo trip to see the World Heritage Sites 😆

The rooms are spacious and easy to relax in, and the bath in the annex was really nice. Soft drinks and miso soup are free, and at 4,000 yen a night the value is great. The reception staff were especially friendly and made me feel very welcome. I was very satisfied, and the hotel felt very safe.
