The transit links and central Yokohama location made getting around easy, and the rooms were comfortable and kept in good shape. The hotel has an older look, though, and I felt the rooms cost more than they should. There also seemed to be plenty of other places nearby that I’ll look into before coming back. For a hotel this size and category, I expected more facilities, like a spa, gym, or onsen. The choices were pretty limited, and the Western breakfast didn’t meet my expectations for a hotel of this scale.

Yokohama was easy to explore from this location. Our twin room was clean and roomy, and its bathroom was huge compared with the other hotels we booked. Maybe we just caught them on off days, but neither breakfast option, Western or Japanese, worked for us.

Our luggage was damaged by a delivery company during our January 2026 stay at The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu, which was stressful. Lobby Service Assistant Manager Mr. Masayuki Fukushima and Chief Concierge Mr. Yoon Jinyoung took it seriously and helped us promptly and professionally. Their support made a real difference. We’re grateful for the excellent service and plan to stay there again.

The view from the room and the hotel's location were fantastic. The rooms looked older, but they were well maintained. At check-in, there were more than 20 people in a long queue, and we were managing three large bags. A staff member was nearby, so we asked if he could store our luggage while we came back to check in later. He kindly agreed and wheeled the bags away for us. Earlier, at the drop-off point, another staff member urged me to drive away as soon as I stepped out to unload. Nobody helped with our bags there, so we had to wheel them ourselves up to the next level where check-in was.

Plenty of shops and restaurants around the building made our stay easy and relaxing. Our room was spacious, well kept, and had a perfect view out toward the bay.
