There’s a street market right beside the hotel, but the evenings are peaceful. The grounds are full of plants and decorative Buddha heads, and the pool is fairly large, clean, and ringed with nice seating. My room is huge, with lots of wooden furniture, a big bathroom with a bath, a balcony, and a comfortable seating area. Breakfast isn’t a buffet, but when I asked for more, it was no trouble. The hotel is authentically Khmer run, and the staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help.

The room I was offered was on the second floor, with no patio or pool access, even though I had booked a ground-floor pool-access room through booking.com based on the photos. The hotel looked unkempt, and the pool was murky brown and dirty, nothing like the pictures, so I refused the reservation. The General Manager agreed to refund me in full and told me to contact booking.com to cancel. After several calls, booking.com gave me conflicting answers and said the hotel had to cancel. I went back, and the hotel again said they couldn’t, explaining that the booking.com partner offer was with Agoda. booking.com then told me to contact Agoda, even though I had paid booking.com. I’m a genius level 3 with booking.com, but they’ve been no help, and I’m still trying to sort this out myself. The stay was booked at a lower, non-refundable rate through a “partner offer” on booking.com, and the payment went to booking.com.

The greenery and tasteful décor made the hotel beautiful, and my room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The pool was clean, too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

My room was such a comfortable place to unwind after a busy day. It was beautifully designed and incredibly spacious. The staff were the other highlight, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with whatever I needed. They made me feel welcome and looked after, and the stay was unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back!
