There are shops, convenience stores, restaurants, and cafés all around, and Myeongdong #4 metro station is about a five-minute walk away. The guesthouse is up on a hillside, though, so you have to keep hauling your luggage uphill. There's a board with directions to your room and how to get the key. You can use the full kitchen equipment as long as you clean up after yourself. The drinking water machine gives hot water for free instant coffee. Rooms are small and there's no elevator, so keep that in mind, especially if you're traveling with big bags.

It's close to Myeongdong Station, so the location was good. The trouble was having no lift. Getting around was hard, especially with a room on the third floor.

We got a great deal on the place, and breakfast bibimbap was so delicious we kept craving it. Our group had five people in a room set up for seven on the top floor. It was the only room up there, so there was a lot of space. The futon beds were comfortable and the room stayed warm in the middle of winter. We had two showers and a powder room. One sink was broken, but it was a minor issue for us. The owner, Mr. Ji, was very accommodating, speaks English very well, and was happy to answer our questions about directions and things like that. He even carried our heavy luggage all the way upstairs for us.

I stayed here twice, in 2015 and 2017, and hope everything is well. The owner, Ji, was very welcoming, and the place was great, clean, and well kept. It's in an accessible spot, within walking distance of N Seoul tower and myeongdong.
