Central Tourist Hotel

It's very clean and comfortable, in an excellent location, and easy on the budget, though definitely not a five-star hotel. There was no tea or coffee, but water bottles were unlimited. Being so close to two metro stations made getting around easy. We were very happy with the accommodation and would stay again.

The location is ideal, but the hotel really needs rebuilding and modernization. We found a cockroach in the bathroom and had to move elsewhere, since we couldn’t stay even 24 hours. We only received half our money back. At least the staff were polite and tried to help.

Most of what you’re paying for here is the location. My room had roaches, mold covered with paint, no shower curtain, and bathroom fixtures partly held on with glue and sharp, dangerous edges. I’d choose a nicer hotel farther from the center. Trains run all day and late into the night, so getting around should still be easy.

We arrived after midnight, and the receptionist had kindly prepared a keycard for us to pick up. The room was clean, they changed the towels daily, and we could have as many bottles of water as we wanted. The location is just perfect! I’d seen mixed reviews before the trip and was a bit worried, but the stay was a pleasant surprise. Sure, the rooms could use refurbishment and the walls could be cleaner. Still, it’s an affordable place, and it isn’t a five-star hotel.
