Sean and Sally patiently answered our endless questions about food and getting around, and Estelle arranged our ride to the airport. The front desk staff were what impressed us most, they were incredibly helpful. We had an excellent four-day stay. The deluxe room was spacious and well designed, with heated floors, windows that open a little for fresh air, a roomy bathroom, and good water pressure. The hotel seems fairly new, or perhaps was refurbished not long ago. It’s in a great spot near lots of places to eat, Namdaemum market with its small shops and popular pop-up food trucks, and the Lotte and Shinsegae department stores. Buses are convenient, with stops nearby.

The room faced Namsan Tower, which was especially memorable at night. We also appreciated the comfortable room, the convenient location near Namdaemun and Seoul Station, and the shoals to LOTTE Mart ZETTAPLEX. The hotel was easy for senior travelers to get around from. This was my first trip to Seoul, and my recent stay at Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul from 23/3-30/3 2026 was comfortable and stress-free from arrival. Manager Jinny, Vicky, Jun, and Julie on the Front Office team were warm, patient, and professional. They were always smiling and ready to help with directions, transport, or recommendations. The hotel felt welcoming, almost like coming home after a long day out. We’re already thinking about staying again on our next Seoul trip. Thanks to the whole Fraser Place Namdaemun team for making the holiday so memorable. Highly recommended.

For longer stays, having a cooktop and washing machine in the room was really useful. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything was arranged smoothly. It’s a comfortable 4-star place in central Seoul, handy for sightseeing, shopping, and nearby attractions. Food is the one thing that fell short for me, since there were very few vegetarian choices. Otherwise, I had a good stay at Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul.

The top-floor spa has a bath, and the hotel is centrally located, about a 5-10 minute walk from Town Hall station. From there I could easily reach Myeongdong and other popular parts of town. I spent 8 nights here in December 2025. The hotel was well heated against the winter cold, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and understood English well.

Check-in went smoothly, and we got into our room quite a bit before the official time, which was great in the cold January weather. My wife and I had a wonderful 6 days 5 nights at Fraser Place Namdaemun. For the price, the rooms were fairly large and clean. I’d strongly recommend it for the location and the rooms.
