I had a wonderful week at Hanguel Guest House in June 2023, even though I'm writing this review a little late. The place was clean, comfortable and well maintained, just as advertised. It was really convenient for the subway, and there were lots of shops, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Getting around Seoul was easy and enjoyable from there. I'd highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the city.

The owner was so nice and let us check in three hours early, which was a big help after our night flight. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the location is excellent, about a 20-minute walk from the central station. Lines 1 and 4 are a five-minute walk away, and there's free coffee for breakfast.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, but the shower was great and the station is close by.
