The comfortable bed and fairly quiet room were about the only positives. There was no way to control the thermostat or air conditioning, so the room was really uncomfortable. The shower setup was awkward, with no shelves or even towel racks, and they didn't supply shampoo, conditioner, or soap. The power went out twice, which also stopped my room key from working. I had to call staff, who don't speak English, to unlock the door manually and presumably reset the breakers inside the room. Breakfast was advertised, but it was a capsule coffee machine and bread, with microwaveable ramen also available. I'd have accepted all that at a budget motel, but this was supposedly a three-star hotel charging 230,000 KRW per night. That's wildly overpriced for such a low-budget experience, especially with no shampoo provided.

Being on my own, I felt very safe and looked after throughout my stay. The front desk staff helped arrange an airport taxi and food delivery, and were able to give me a later checkout, which I really appreciated. The guest rooms were quite spacious, and the staff were lovely. Public transport is close, and there are plenty of food choices just steps away, including places open late. I'd happily stay again next time I'm in Seoul.

The room felt like a premium hotel, even though it is a “motel.” It was spotless, with a great shower and a really comfortable bed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The alley right outside felt a little sketchy at times, though mostly it was fine. Convenience stores and restaurants are close by.

Mr Lee at reception was especially helpful, spoke good English and Mandarin, and made me want to come back. I stayed one night, and the room was clean and roomy, with cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included, with toast, cereal, and cup noodles. I'll stay here again next time.

I was a little nervous since it's slightly off the main road, but the staff were friendly and even upgraded us for free. The room was really clean and came with complimentary toiletries. Really good!
