The room was spacious and clean, and the customer service was good. The three female front desk staff I met were all polite and helpful. The location is very good, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and Seoul station is only one stop away. Breakfast was simple and included, so no complaints there. The room itself is a little old.

We stayed five nights last week in September 2025. I hope these details help others decide. The location is convenient for the station, shopping, and Myeongdong, with City Hall exit 7 nearby. There is a G25 convenience store close by, and cafes and food places across the small road, though they don't open early. There are no porters, so you carry your own bags. We booked a family room for four adults with two queen beds. The room size is fixed, so once our four suitcases were on the floor, walking space was tight. There's no cupboard, just a wall rack with four hangers. The long mirror is by the entrance, where its motion sensor light kept turning on and off, and you can't control it. The table with the kettle and mini fridge has no power sockets, so we had to boil water at the dressing table across the room. They gave us four plastic bedroom slippers, a hairdryer, and 220ml bottles of water for each guest every day. The beds and soft pillows were fairly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked as we wanted. The 37-inch Android TV let us watch YouTube and English news, and Wi-Fi worked for all four of us. The bathroom has a long bath with handheld and overhead showerheads. There's no anti-slip mat or shower curtain, so the floor and nearby basin top got wet after every shower. At first there were only three bath towels for us, so we went to L3 to request another. Mid-sized hand towels and a floor mat towel were also provided. No toothbrushes or toothpaste, but there were large bottles of shower foam, shampoo, and conditioner, plus a small hand soap. The basin has a roomy top for everyone's toiletries, though they could get wet. Its tap mixes hot and cold, which is handy, but ours had C for hot and H for cold. If everyone needs the toilet at once, the basement is another option: the ladies have four cubicles, the men's side only one. Staff were polite, but the two people we spoke to didn't speak much English, so we used Google Translator. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout at 11 a.m.; they seemed inflexible about changing those times, though we didn't ask. We requested at least two key cards because one wasn't enough. One card is needed to activate the room, and another sliding corridor door also uses a card when you come back in, which is awkward for a group. Breakfast was fine and there was enough to eat. We got four coupons for breakfast in the basement, with last call at 9:30 a.m., and four coffee coupons for the L1 cafe, which had to be used by the next day. The coffee was hot Americano. Extra breakfast coupons cost 15k KRW each.

The modern building is easy to walk to from the main train and subway station, and it's well placed for visiting historical sites. There are restaurants all around, from highly rated spots to street tents. My room was round but spacious, with three large windows, and the modern bathroom had a bathtub.

Le Seoul Hotel was the cleanest place I've ever stayed in Seoul, absolutely spotless. It's a great place and worth every penny. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Seoul!

People were standing outside my room talking at 5 a.m., and the walls were covered in dirt. The bed was rock hard, with just one flat pillow, and the towels were falling apart. There are no amenities, not even a mug or cup for water, though they give you a kettle. You only get one room key, and when you turn the lights off, the power sockets cut out, so you can't charge anything overnight.
