Andre makes fantastic food and does a really great job. He even shared a history lesson about the country and how long it has been around. He’s intelligent and speaks well. If you want ideas for places to go or eat in the city, he knows plenty. He’s a caring person, and I hope I get to stay with him again. It’s a cute place at a very reasonable price, and the bathrooms are clean, with a separate one for each room.

The bedding was so comfortable that I got the best night’s sleep. The room was spotless, the air conditioning was quiet and had a remote so I could set it how I wanted, and the shower came with huge towels, not the little ones you usually get in Korea. Andre was an easygoing, friendly, and knowledgeable host. When my taxi dropped me at a strange spot, he came right away to find me and help me reach the hanok. I can’t recommend this place more. If you’re considering it, just go for it. You won’t regret it. :)

The breakfasts are amazing, and Andre is a wonderful host. This little hanok has a welcoming, almost magical feel, and you can tell someone really cares about you and your vacation. If you’re after a plush bed and a large bathroom, it may not be the right place, but I couldn’t recommend it more for the hospitality.

The quiet neighborhood and picturesque location made us feel comfortable in Andre’s lovely hanok. We had a lovely time following his suggestions during our 2 1/2 day stay in Korea. In that short time, he also taught us a lot about the country and helped us get oriented. Andre is a superhost extraordinaire!

It was my first time in South Korea and my first stay in a traditional Korean Hanok. The warm wooden floor made it especially interesting, and the room was clean. Our kind, helpful host made breakfast for us, with healthy and delicious food: salad, chicken bulgogi, miso soup, pickles, and fruit. It was a great experience. Give this hospitality a try.
