The pool was cold, but otherwise inviting, and the pool bar was pleasant with a good happy hour. Staff were helpful, and transport was easy to find. Our room was spacious and clean, though it sometimes smelled of sewage.

The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh, the staff were pleasant, and breakfast was great. The hotel is high quality and sits right next to the night market. I have nothing bad to say about it and highly recommend it.

The only real drawback was that our rooms were upstairs, so the stairs may not suit older guests. Otherwise, the rooms were nice, clean, and well cared for, with exceptionally soft bedding and towels. Breakfast was lovely, and I especially recommend the rice porridge. The airport shuttle bus was included, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, even after I asked them at least five times to help open the door. That was definitely my skill issue! Getting around was convenient, with most attractions 1-2 kilometers away. One handy tip: if you're flying with Laos Airlines, you can check in and get your boarding pass right at the hotel.

Our boys spent most of their downtime at the swimming pool, and we appreciated the free bikes for riding into the center and visiting places. We also had dinner there at the night market. The hotel is connected with Lao Airlines, which made check-in for our onward flight to Hanoi simple. We could do it from the hotel and get luggage labels there. We stayed two nights in summer ‘24 after a two-day hiking trip, to rest and recover. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and service was good. Breakfast leaned heavily toward Asian food but had enough choice for us. We also had lunch there, and it was good. The outdoor breakfast area was the nicest; inside felt a bit lacking in coziness. Good value for money.
