The family running this place are lovely, and the people at the front desk are great. I stayed for a week, then came back for another two days. It’s a perfect base for exploring Luang Prabang, with the night market and great places to eat just a few steps away. Great price too. Highly recommended.

It was pretty okay for the price, but the staff felt very standoffish. Our rooms weren’t cleaned during our stay. If you need extra water or toilet paper, you have to ask staff or get it yourself from the storeroom. The bathroom layout was especially awkward. You can’t poop without your knees pressed against the wall.

The room had very old furniture, and there was no hot water at the tap. Still, the location is right in the middle of the heritage area, within a short walk of the town’s main attractions: the alms giving ceremony street, morning market, night market, restaurants, tour bookings, Mekong ferry, bamboo bridges, and handicrafts village.

A good low-cost stay, with friendly, courteous staff and a fantastic range of food from the kitchen. There are restaurants right outside the door too. Just remember, they won’t make up your room unless you ask. The showers can feel a bit cold if you’re not used to individual water heaters.

The room was basic, with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Gh and the other staff were friendly, and the night market is close by, making it easy to walk around Luangprabang. Take the small alley about 200m down to quiet Wat Xiengmuang. The monks’ chanting at 6:00pm is very nice.
