Up until the problem, the room and our stay had been okay. Then the bum gun burst at 2:30am and flooded the room, and we couldn't find any staff to help. We had to reach behind the sinks ourselves to shut off the water, which left us without a tap, a flushing toilet, or a shower. In the morning, staff said nothing could be done. We received no compensation and felt completely unsatisfied. Paying £20 a night to deal with a flooded room is unacceptable, and after the customer service we got, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The rooms were basic but okay, and the scooter the hotel arranged was in very good condition and well maintained, a joy compared with another experience I've had. The young man was super helpful and courteous. The young lady, not so much.

We were here on a tour, so I don't know what it cost and can't really judge the value. It's a very budget, outdated place, though it has nearly everything you need, including hot showers and toothbrushes. There is no safe. Breakfast was simple but acceptable, and the main strip and night markets are a 10-15 minute walk away, so it's not the handiest location. Staff don't speak English. I'd happily come back if the price were low.
