After leaving our planned accommodation because of bedbugs, we checked in here. The staff were lovely and helped us book trains and sort other things out. The rooms were clean and nice, though a little dark, and there was a good pool. It’s lovely and does the job, even if it isn’t jaw-droppingly amazing. I’d recommend staying here, especially since we found a lot of accommodation in vang vieng lacking.

The breakfast buffet was average, decent but nothing special. The main downside was noise: the hotel was busy, and we could hear people moving around as early as 5-6 AM, probably guests leaving for early tours. For the price, we had a great stay at the Sisombat Plaza Hotel. The rooms were modern and spotless, and the bathroom was excellent.

I stayed for 2 nights. It’s a good hotel in Vang Vieng, not exactly posh, but good for the small size of Vang Vieng. The room was big, clean, and OK, though the toilet felt a bit small compared with all the extra space in the room. Breakfast was good, with veg and vegan options.

The staff were the real stars: they took care of our laundry and sorted our train tickets without any hassle. The rooms at Sisombat are spotless, and the beds are high-quality.

A solid hotel, with great service and a solid breakfast, which was actually pretty good. No real complaints. Shout out to Khamla, who helped us handle a tight situation: we couldn’t take an item onto the train, so she arranged for it to be sent to our next hotel in Vientiane. We got it the same day, after worrying we might lose it.
