Green Casa

The housekeepers were lovely and welcoming, and they took care of whatever we needed. We ate in for three days, and the head housekeeper cooked brilliantly. The rooms all had great AC, and the mosquito nets on every bed were a real help with the bites in Lanka. We also enjoyed the pool and the TV’s screen sharing for YouTube. We were in Galle on a tour from London, and this was easily our favorite place. I’d recommend it highly. Just wish we’d had more than three days there.

The villa itself was very nice, and its location was ideal, close to Galle fort with all its restaurants and shops. We weren’t lucky with the weather, though, and the living and dining areas felt very hot.

The rooms were cared for well, and I loved the lovely fragrance in the air. We had great hospitality throughout, especially from Mohan and the staff, who were always attentive. The owner was friendly and quick to handle anything guests needed. This Dutch house turned villa in southern Sri Lanka made for a spectacular, peaceful stay. Highly recommended.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the whole place was spotless. I especially liked the small, intimate pool and the beautiful architecture. The owner and staff were friendly and very accommodating. They arranged a scooter rental delivered to the property, a car to the airport, and an in-house SPA. When I wanted to cook fish I’d bought at the market, they let me use the kitchen free of charge. One of the best small boutique hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’d highly recommend it.
