Wonmi Residency

We stayed without meals, which worked out well since there were plenty of nice places to eat nearby. The place was really clean and well looked after, with a kitchen, fridge, microwave, and cooking facilities. The living room was great too, and parking was available. Service was amazing, and the accommodation felt luxurious. It's within walking distance of Galle Fort, so it's a really nice place to stay when visiting Galle. Worth it.

Even though Wonmi Apartments is in Galle's busy city center, it felt wonderfully quiet and cozy as soon as I stepped inside. That calm carried on from the basement parking all the way up. The themed apartments feel luxurious, with comfortable, soothing furniture and decor, plus all the appliances you might need. From the rooftop pool and deck, you can see across the whole Galle township, including the historic Fort. The lit-up city at night is mesmerizing. I give this place 5 stars. It offers an affordable way to enjoy the Galle experience, and I haven't found the same feeling anywhere else.

The photos online don't match what we found, and the price didn't feel worth it. The apartment is still under construction, with work going on downstairs, and the lift hasn't been built, so we had to climb four floors. Pool access is cut off at 8 pm under the strict rules. Bad experience, wouldn't recommend it.

The pool was beautiful, and we loved the viewpoint at the top. I stayed at Wonmi Apartments with my family, and the staff were great. We had an excellent experience overall, and I'd highly recommend the place for a holiday.
