The rooms and washrooms were in good condition, and the service was friendly and customer focused. It’s reasonably priced too. A good choice if you want a relaxed stay without hassles, and I’d highly recommend it.

The owners were the best part for us. They live next door, were very friendly, and helped right away when we had a medical problem. I was more pleased with them than with the place itself. The house is a good place to stay, with three rooms, two washrooms, one inside and one outside, and a kids’ play area. One room has a mountain view. It’s easy to find, close to the city, and 5-10 meters from Matale town. I’d recommend it to people visiting the Matale area.

A lovely guest house for families, with great food and a small play area for the kids. Highly recommended.

I heard from management that they might give up this rest house and guest house business. After the COVID lockdown, customers weren’t allowed to stay in private places in Matale, and it seems the business really suffered.
